Which seat are you applying for?

You are chairing. A delegate rises to a Point of Order in the middle of another delegate’s speech — to say that the speaker’s figures are wrong.

What do you do, in the moment and out loud? Take us through it. There is more than one defensible answer; we are interested in how you reason, and in what you actually say to the room.

Before you go further — the hours

Read this properly. Every year, conferences lose Executive Board members in the final fortnight because nobody said this plainly at the start. We would much rather you tell us now.

The conference runs on 7–8 November 2026, at Beary's Amity, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Reporting time is 07:00 on both days — not the session start, the time you are expected on site.
Sessions run to 12 hours. Expect to be at the venue until late evening on both days.
Executive Board members are also expected before the conference — study guide work, agenda preparation and briefings.
